Knomee Completes SOC 2 Type 2 Examination: Built for Enterprise Trust

Behavioral intelligence is only valuable if customers can trust the infrastructure behind it.

Today, we’re proud to share that Knomee has successfully completed our SOC 2 Type 2 examination with Sensiba.

For us, this milestone is about more than checking a security box. It reflects a decision we made early: if Knomee was going to become part of the intelligence infrastructure of major financial institutions, we needed to build for enterprise trust from the beginning.

We knew what enterprise customers would ask

Our team came into Knomee having worked inside large financial institutions and overseen vendor risk ourselves.

We knew the questions technology, security, risk, compliance, and procurement teams would eventually ask:

How do you protect our data? How do you manage access? How do you evaluate your own vendors? Are your controls documented and consistently followed? Can your infrastructure scale with us?

So we didn't wait for our first large enterprise customer to start thinking about those questions.

We built Knomee knowing that security and operational rigor would be fundamental to serving the institutions we wanted as customers.

Why this matters for behavioral intelligence

Financial institutions already hold enormous amounts of financial, demographic, transactional, and CRM data.

Knomee adds something different: client-authored behavioral intelligence about what people want, why it matters, what's changing, and when they're ready to act.

That intelligence can help firms convert prospects, deepen client relationships, engage the next generation, personalize experiences, and give AI richer proprietary inputs.

But creating a differentiated data asset comes with responsibility.

As Knomee becomes more deeply integrated into enterprise workflows, the systems and controls surrounding that data have to be worthy of the institutions and people who trust us with it.

Our SOC 2 Type 2 examination is an important validation of that foundation.

Built to grow with enterprise customers

We've learned that selling into the enterprise isn't only about building technology that solves a valuable problem.

You also have to be ready to operate inside the enterprise.

That means answering hard security questions. Working through vendor-risk processes. Building appropriate controls. Producing evidence. And creating an organization that customers can depend on as deployments grow.

Having sat on the other side of that table earlier in our careers helped us anticipate what our customers would need from us.

It has also helped us build Knomee to meet the needs of large financial institutions without losing the speed and focus of an emerging technology company.

Thank you, Sensiba

Working with Sensiba throughout the examination was a pleasure. We appreciated the rigor, clarity, and partnership their team brought to the process.

SOC 2 Type 2 isn't the finish line. Maintaining strong security and controls is an ongoing responsibility, particularly as our customers, product, data, and enterprise deployments grow.

And that's exactly how we intend to treat it.

What comes next

Now we get back to the reason we built this foundation in the first place.

Knomee is building the behavioral intelligence layer for financial services.

We help financial institutions create proprietary intelligence about what their customers want, why it matters, and when they're ready to act, then turn that intelligence into growth.

We're excited to bring that capability to more enterprise customers, backed by the infrastructure, controls, and operating discipline they expect.

Enterprise-ready. SOC 2 Type 2 complete. Ready to grow.
